Pretty light blue emerald-cut aquamarine gemstones are set in this pair of vintage 14k yellow gold stud earrings. Four sturdy prongs hold the precious gems tightly above the classic pierced basket settings. Collectively, the two 10mm x 8mm aquas have a 5.53 carat weight. The light blue aquamarines have nice translucency, sparkle & some natural crystal structure glimmers. When I purchased the 1980s earring settings they no longer had their gemstones, so I had a gemologist / jeweler set the lively aquas in them. These earrings come with the pictured gemological report with details on the certified gems. The earrings are fitted with fixed posts & push-on backs. Each post is hallmarked “14k” with an infinity symbol & the push-on backs are stamped, “585, 14k” also with the infinity mark. Overall, the settings are in excellent vintage condition with firmly fixed recently set gemstones. Please check out all photos & below for detailed measurements.
