Vintage One Gallon size oyster can. From United Shellfish in Ipswich Massachusetts. Blue Seal brand oysters. The can is in very nice condition & has the lid with it. The plant that shucked the oysters was actually located at Kent Narrows. The plants still there but they no longer shuck oysters at that plant. Then they were distributed by the other United Shellfish companies up & down the east coast. This oyster can is 7 1/4 inches tall. I have a old photo of the plant where these oyster were shucked but the photo is not included in the sale. Thanks for looking at our store.
