Licensed in mental health counseling in the state of Florida since the summer of the year 95 - actually in inactive status –, Dr. Francois has invested more than twenty years of his professional life in private practice assisting clients, couples and groups in dealing their individual and collective issues. He taught foreign languages in secondary schools in the states during the 80’s. He also taught higher education and counseling psychology in the 90’s. He is now involved in teaching education, providing clinical consultation in geriatric and psychiatric medicine in Haiti during the last fifteen years. He presently lives and invests his part time daily hours in the dynamics of private practice in Haiti as a consultant in the field of education and also as an independent writer. He hopes that his doctoral thesis, converted in book, will inspire laymen, students, mental experts, family therapist, researchers and administrative leaders in their search of a multi-culturally approach of addressing human problems without discrimination, premeditated group preferences and/or cultural entitlements. Dr. Harry Hans Francois, Ph.D., N.D., DHA., MHC., CNC., MHC was born in Haiti in the 50’s. He migrated to the sates and settled during the early 70’s. He attended colleges in the state of New York, Missouri and Florida. His passion and drive for universal knowledge took him to graduated studies centered on diverse domains such as counseling psychology, curriculum and school guidance, marriage and family counseling, nutrition, naturopathic and nutrition. All these energies and interests for books and research have led him to earn a doctoral degree in marriage and family counseling psychology from Evangelical Theological Seminary, a doctoral degree from Clayton College of Natural Health in naturopathic medicine, a doctoral degree with honors from Universite Joseph Lafortune, a master degree from St Thomas University in marriage and family and a master from Barry University in University Studies.
