Porcelain serving bowl - This handmade ceramic bowl was hand crafted with a pure white porcelain & carefully hand carved with a unique pattern. The incredibly smooth & silky texture of the porcelain accentuates the cutout design which moves organically along the side of the bowl. This modern ceramic bowl can be used as a ramen bowl, rice bowl, cereal bowl or as a serving dish. This collection was inspired by a memory of leaves floating on the surface of a river stream & travelling with it. The effortless movement of the leaves that seem to dance in the water made me think of the beauty of letting go, being in the moment & letting it guide us somewhere unexpected & unplanned. I wanted this design to look elegant & nearly effortless in order to give that sense of lightness & free movement. This unique porcelain piece has been fired at 1200 degrees Celsius & glazed with a transparent glaze & therefore it’s extremely durable, food safe & dish washer safe.
