This handmade adjustable cookbook stand is a great addition to any kitchen or home. The design allows you to hold a cookbook, recipe, iPad or other tablet easily while cooking or baking. The striped wooden stand looks great on your counter but can also be easily & quickly disassembled for easy storage. I make each of these adjustable wooden cookbook from purpleheart, maple, & walnut. Each stand includes two pieces: one piece has a large slot for the second piece. This allows you to adjust the holder & disassemble it for easy storage. I finish each piece of wood with food safe mineral oil which won’t leave residue on your books or tablets & makes it safe to use in the kitchen. The wooden stand comes in two pieces. The larger piece is 8 inches by 11 inches & made of wood that is one inch thick. The second piece is 4.5 inches by 8 inches. When assembled, the stand is roughly 8 inches deep by 8 inches across & around 10 inches in height. The slot to hold your book or tablet is about one inch wide & 4.5 inches across. All measurements are approximate because I make each stand by hand & because the stand is adjustable.
