Ralph Terry started the 1959 season with the Kansas City Athletics but he was traded to the New York Yankees on May 26th. With New York, Terry pitched in 24 games, including 16 starts, going 3-7 with a 3.39 ERA. His “real” 1959 card showed him with the Athletics. Direct from the artist, these ultra high quality hand crafted cards feature players who were not accurately represented in the “real” 1959 set … (1) Some were not shown on the correct team. (2) Some were shown on the correct team but pictured in a previous team’s uniform, often with no cap. (3) Some started the season on one team but played a significant part of the season on another team. (4) Some were highly regarded rookies who should have had a full sized card but either shared space on a multi-player rookie stars card or didn’t appear on a card at all. (5) Some were veterans who, for whatever reason, simply did not appear on a card. Note that the WATERMARK boxes appear only on the digital image to prevent copying; they do NOT appear on the actual card. Though it resembles a “real” card, it is NOT intended to exactly replicate the original design. & it is NOT a reprint because its a card that was NEVER MADE. It is the standard card size (2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches) but to differentiate it from a “real” card: (1) It is slightly THICKER. (2) The back is BLANK WHITE. (4) The photo has never been used on a card. (3) Lettering is slightly different. These cards are NOT mass produced. Each card is crafted individually by hand & will arrive in MINT condition. SHIPPING IS FREE!
