Fabrics with an interesting history. I purchased a large number of prints that were supposed to be cotton/linen blends. When they arrived, the bolt ends on some said that they were linen blends, but some said 100% cotton. However, they all have the same feel. They are much more rugged than your typical quilter’s cotton - a bit rough & rustic in feel, but still a plain weave. We have used at least two of these fabrics for culottes that were washed & worn & used a great deal. The fabric wears wonderfully. It does not get super limp & soft, but still retains a bit of the crispness & just seems to hold up really well.
