Every time I watch “The Sound of Music” with my daughter, I find my self imagining just what those white dresses with blue satin sashes look like. Well, now I know! I have designed this dress from my jumper dress pattern, but it is done in a beautiful eyelet lace border. Belt loops at the sides hold the gorgeous wide blue satin sash. This dress would be perfect for portraits, weddings or any other special occasion. I just love the way the light catches the satin! This dress is done with a blue satin sash, but I also have pastel pink & white satin on hand to customize your dress. Imagine how beautiful it would be to dress sisters in a rainbow of colors! If you want a different color, just email me & I will let you know if it is available. I was very careful to choose a machine washable satin. in fact, the fabric I use has all been prewashed & dried. & yet look how beautiful it is! This dress is done with a separate sash that can be tied in front, back or to the side. If you would rather have my traditional cumberbund style pleated sash attached across the front, just email me at the time of payment. The skirt on this dress is very full at 2 yards around. She will never stop twirling! It buttons up the back with 3 buttons. There is a 4" placket into the skirt, making it very easy to get on & off. This skirt is fully lined in a white batiste fabric for a professional look. The sash is completely self lined for a flawless finish. I can do an average for the size you want. But I prefer to have measurements when possible.
