This pasta bowl is wheel thrown in a speckled brown stoneware clay & glazed in a glossy white glaze that allows lots of the speckles to show through. The glaze is a little plain on its own, but the speckles coming through from the clay give it a nice little zing & save it from being ho-hum! Another nice thing about the white glaze is that it allows your food to be the star instead of my glaze! This bowl is 7 5/8 inches wide & is 2 1/4 inches tall. This bowl is a great size & shape for a pasta bowl, or for one of those big dinner salads (grilled chicken Caesar salad or Cobb). It can also be used as a medium sized serving bowl or as a ramen pho bowl. Fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln. Food, dishwasher & microwave safe.
