All the author’s profits are donated to the Side Kick program run by White Tiger Taekwondo in Cary, NC. The Side Kick program uses martial arts to encourage at risk youth to stay in school. The program is highly successful. Participants are not only graduating high school, they are going on to higher education and receiving college degrees. The Side Kick program provides free martial arts instruction to students who continue to meet the educational requirements, and also provides scholarships to help those participants who choose to pursue higher education.
