Tresorium is the fourth book in the Family Saga series. The action takes place in Poland and Germany in the last days of World War II. The story begins in one of the many echelons scattered across the Soviet Union and Europe. One of them moves to the Polish station Oppeln, where the headquarters of the Second Ukrainian Front is located. Here, among hundreds of soldiers and commanders, there is a seventeen-year-old guy Rem. He went to serve not so much because of stupid heroism, but because of cold calculation. He graduated from the ten-year school, signed up for an accelerated course at the military infantry school in the hope that by the time of graduation the war would already be over. But it didn’t end. If only Ram knew that such greens like him are sent to the most disastrous places … After all, they are not sorry, they don’t stand on ceremony with such people. Perhaps the good intentions of the guy will bring him to the grave ahead of time. In the meantime, the only thing left for him is to move forward with the big echelon, listen to other people’s stories and wait for the arrival at the destination, where his fate and the fate of his homeland will be decided. In parallel, Boris Akunin introduce s us to several more stories that are somehow connected with the war and lead to its end. Not all heroes will survive the last days of World War II, but everyone will contribute to the history of the USSR and all of Europe…
