Some metals may leave a slight discoloration on the skin of certain individuals based on reactions with salt/their body chemistry. This is completely harmless & can be washed off. These metals can change colors over time. You may clean them with the appropriate cleaners to remove any unwanted tarnish or patina. Permanently colored copper may reduce the likelihood of discoloration. Please handle all jewelry carefully, taking care while wearing or putting on/taking off.
