This item ships FAST This item was created in our Michigan workshop out of a Kentucky oak whiskey barrel. This barrel held whiskey as it aged for as long as 15 years & is charred black from being burned to bring out the flavor. We have taken great care to retain that distinct character. Since this is a reclaimed product, there are imperfections & no two staves are the same, which we think adds character & uniqueness to each piece. This stave is approximately 7 inches long & between 2 to 3 inches wide at the widest part & has 1 pre-drilled hole for a wall mount. Each hanger has been lightly sanded to prevent splintering while keeping the natural beauty of the wood. Wood sealant has been applied to the top & sides to transparently protect the holder, & on the bottom to maintain the stave’s beautiful coloring. Widths are random & although we will try our best to accommodate a specific size, we cannot guarantee a specific size.
