An original vintage ink blotter advertising card dating to the late 1930’s. This cardstock ink blotter features charming text & graphics advertising the Grand Opening of Mayes Oyster House at its new location on 1233 Polk Street in San Francisco, CA. Mayes was founded 1867 & is still in operation at this Polk Street address to this day. The blotter measures 6" by 3" in size & is still in great condition for its age. The blotter was never used to blot ink, so the pink backside is extremely clean with the exception of a couple light spots. The front of the blotter is also very clean - only some minor to moderate corner wear & some light creasing at the upper right corner. A great piece of Mayes history for display!
