Vintage California’s Finest Fruits Wooden Box Distressed Free Shipping This box is pretty distressed. It’s in as-found fair condition. I believe it’s from the 1940s. It belonged to a woman that used it as a child to store her special things like rocks, shells & feathers in when her family took trips. The hinges have been repaired with wire so the lid is attached & opens & closes easily. It can still be used to store letters & mail in. It’s a great piece of california agriculture memorabilia. They are growing less & less there as the years go by. California was a huge producer of fruits & vegetables as well as flowers in the twentieth century.
