I’ve never heard of these before I found them & then I found another. Weird how that works. These are used by fly fishermen for quick access to nippers & a hook file. They are on a retractable pin that would attach to your fishing vest so you wouldn’t have to fumble in a pocket. The retractable part is branded by Orvis, the nippers are Japanese stainless steel.
