This is a 1940s edition of the Better Homes & Gardens Cook Book with the Wartime Supplement in a three ring binder cover. The insert is in the front of the book & explains how to source & cook at home for your family during the rationed World War II years. It includes all kinds of hints & knowledge, including what to plant in a garden. in good condition, there is plenty of wear on the leaf edges & tabs. The cover is in very good condition with no major issues, but there is some rounding on the corners. Spine is nice. There are some glued in recipes on the insides of the front & back covers, sadly, a front one covers where I believe the publishing info is located. I didn’t go through it page by page, but it appears that all the leaves are here. Some may have rips from the ring binder. We ship insured & usually the next business day.
