Vintage cookbook, The Art of Cooking Omelettes, by Madam Romaine de Lyon, French Cookbook. Great gift for Mom! Madame de Lyon’s restaurant on East 61st in Manhattan was famous for offering over 500 omelettes on the menu. What is even more astonishing is that she operated as sole proprieter & chef, making every omelette herself. -Abe Books This vintage French cookbook has over 500 variations on omelettes. Cloth boards hard cover with dust jacket. It has a bright yellow cover with lovely graphics. The cloth covered hardback book itself, without the dust jacket, is in great vintage condition. I have photographed it with & without the cover. The dust jacket shows normal wear with a couple of spots where the paper has rubbed off. The edges of the pages are slightly discolored. I have photographed it from every angle so you can see its condition. Binding is tight & the book is in very good vintage condition.
