Thanks, Linda at Bloom Again Vintage These confetti lucite earrings are set in a gold tone metal. They are ¾" around. The earrings were originally clips but were converted to posts to make them more comfortable. While purists may disagree about switching the earrings from clips to posts, I think it’s more practical & prevents the wearer from being pinched by clips! However, the removal of the clips did create some discoloring & scratches on the backs of the earrings. Of course, you don’t see any of that from the front. The posts are glued to the earring with heavy duty epoxy. Please keep in mind that when buying vintage items, you are purchasing something that is pre-loved & used.
