This is an extremely cool piece of pottery. I was only able to find one other similar ram in my online searching. I am unsure of the maker or the year it was completed, but I would assume it to be a 1970’s piece. He is so neat to look at. Show-stopper figure. There is one piece on the bottom of the sheep that I first thought was a broken piece near his front foot. But the more I look at him, the more I think that isn’t a broken piece after all. The glaze covers it, so there is no “raw” broken edge. I still marked it in one of the photos just in case though. :) The glaze colors are gorgeous hues of brown, cream, & tan. I love the way this guy looks. He’d be so great on a mantel or bookshelf. It measures approximately 6.5" tall & 5" wide. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
