Vintage Mid Century Bitossi Ram Animal Form Italian Pottery Lamp Base Aldo Londi

A fantastic & extremely uncommon animal form, likely produced during the 1960s by Bitossi & designed by Aldo Londi. This form was was originally produced as a lamp base, but I do not believe lamp parts were ever used on this particular piece. There are some tiny chips around the top receiving hole, one on the snout, & one on the back left bottom. All in all, I don’t think the chips distract much from the overall form, being an unglazed example. Please see photos for condition details.
