This is a vintage ca 1970s hand embroidered small tablecloth in the Portuguese or Romanian style. Very striking pattern with black & white threads on a red ground. It is likely from Eastern Europe. This feels like cotton. This can be used as a tablecloth for a small table or as a throw on a chair to brighten the room. Beautiful holiday accent. 28 inches x 29 1/2 inches.
