Rare poster print representing India’s Ram Sita Marriage celebration. This is a devotional poster featuring Lord Ram & the Goddess Sita & the Hindu ritual. My best guess on age is 1940s-1950s. The paper is very thin with wood supports top & bottom on the reverse. There is an original shoe string like loop up top for hanging. The colors are stunning-I did not enhance the color when I photographed this poster. Condition is vintage with signs of much use, with creases where it was folded for storage. The perimeter has cuts & little tears with soiling. The central part of the poster is in good condition. I will ship flat with hardboard. Measures 29" H x 20 1/2" L.
