Beautiful light wood with stunning grain with an inlay of darker wood (sorry I do not know the names of wood used). Interior is lined with black material that will be gentle on your precious things. There is one compartment that encompasses about 2/3 of the interior space; the other 1/3 is a covered area with the music mechanism within. The music box has a winding mechanism on the bottom & plays the song “Camelot.” The music plays when box is open & stops when box is closed. The music jewelry trinket box measures approximately 8 ½" long, 4 ¼" wide & 3 ¼" tall. This is a pre-loved item in very good condition.
