These penny rugs are the perfect size to hold your morning cup of coffee or tea. The finished size is about 5" x 5". The kits are made from 100% wool that has been reclaimed from thrift store clothing. Each one has been felted & kitted just for you. Each kit also includes an instruction sheet. Because these are cut from recycled wool, there may be bits of interfacing on one side. Just turn the interfacing to the back, I actually prefer using the bits with interfacing, I think it helps add stability & body to the finished piece. When sewn up, they have a front & a back. The front is adorned with layered “pennies” & there is a large piece to cover all the knots & finish the back nice & tidy.
