Vintage set of 12 silver plated lobster pick forks. One end to pick open the shell & the other to scoop out the meat. Each piece bears on the back the maker’s mark " SFAM “, the initials of the Société Française d’Alliage des Métaux, founded in 1894 by Augustin Vermand. There are two other marks on the upper parts - the indication " Métal Alliages Blanc " & the " poinçon de la bonne foi " (“good faith” mark), showing an image of shaking hands above the number indicating the silver content in grams (15 gr. ). The lobster forks measure: 22,1 cm / 8.7” x 1,2 cm / 0.47" wide.
