A schooner is sunk off the coast of Virginia by a Union ironclad while trying to run the blockade. 130 years later the descendants of the ironclad’s commander start dying mysteriously. While trying to do a good deed, private detective Max Parker finds himself and his agency unwittingly thrust into the middle of the mystery. Max soon learns that solving the mystery is secondary to him and his detectives just staying alive! The reader will be drawn into the mystery along with Max. They will Travel with Max and his detectives as they battle their way from cover to cover, shedding their blood in chapter after chapter all the way to an exciting climax in the waters off of New Bedford.
